It is the idea that people should be denounced, publicly humiliated, and punished for completely legitimate ideas or political positions, or for pocket-size mistakes and missteps. The public humiliation, denunciation, and attempt to get you fired or punished is called a "cancellation attack." If information technology succeeds, you have been "canceled."

x Ways to Tell if You lot are the Target of a Cancellation Attack
